Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in New Orleans seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, supervise team members, and ensure rooms and public spaces meet the highest cleanliness standards.

You will coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and hotel leadership to deliver guest-ready spaces and exceptional guest experiences while training staff and maintaining safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping leadership or supervisory roles in hotels or cleaning operations.
• Strong knowledge of cleanliness standards, room inspection, and hospitality service expectations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Supervise and guide housekeeping team members to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and guest service standards.
• Inspect rooms and spaces to ensure brand standards and sanitation expectations are met.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and leadership teams to support seamless operations.
• Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and operational communication for staff.
