Job summary

Aloft Nola in New Orleans is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise room attendants and other staff, and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and brand standards.

You will train and coach team members, monitor productivity, manage supply usage, report maintenance concerns, and uphold safety and sanitation policies while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality coursework or certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience with housekeeping software or PMS systems (HotSOS, OnQ, Opera, etc.) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations.
• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and compliance with brand standards.
• Assist with training new employees on cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ensure carts, closets, and supply rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Address guest requests and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
• Report maintenance concerns and ensure timely follow-up.
• Monitor productivity and assist with scheduling and labor management.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, assignments, and supply usage.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
