Job summary

The h.wood Group is seeking a Lead Host to support reservations, greet guests, and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced setting. You will manage inquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring a warm, guest-first experience and seamless seating coordination.

Open availability is preferred, and you will be expected to uphold the brand’s standards, assist with VIP guests, and liaise with management to ensure flawless service across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience managing reservations.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to tables in a gracious and professional manner.
• Interact with guests and staff to ensure an exemplary dining experience.
• Greet VIPs professionally; manage reservations records.
• Know menus to answer guest inquiries.
• Direct guests to waiting areas; update table statuses.
• Bid farewell using guest's name and invite return.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
• Assist supervising servers, bussers, and runners as related to guest contact.
• Communicate with management about special orders and VIP requests.
• Act as a brand ambassador and ensure compliance with procedures.
