Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. in Richardson, TX, seeks a Superintendent for the DFW Central Division.

You will manage all functions of the job site from permit to closing, schedule subcontractors, coordinate homeowner Walk-throughs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years related experience, ability to read construction documents, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure the highest quality product is delivered on time and within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors for each phase and ensure workmanship meets codes and company standards.
• Complete each home site from planning through occupancy.
• Inspect subcontractor work and halt noncompliant work.
• Authorize payments to subcontractors after inspection and material receipt.
• Maintain customer experience throughout construction and conduct homeowner walks.
