Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for the DFW Central Division (Arlington/Grand Prairie/South Dallas) based in Richardson, TX.

You will assist the Superintendent in managing community job sites, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality standards and safety across the project. Responsibilities include scheduling inspections, maintaining production schedules, supervising subcontractors, and delivering a high level of customer service to homeowners throughout

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to drive among construction sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to read plans and other construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect homes daily to ensure workmanship meets plans and schedule.
• Schedule and walk inspections with inspectors.
• Walk completed homes before homeowner walk-through and closing to ensure quality.
• Conduct homeowner orientations and ensure homeowner satisfaction.
• Assist in managing subcontractors with emphasis on quality, safety, scheduling and cost control.
• Enforce site safety programs and company standards.
