Job summary

Molex is seeking an experienced Electrical High-Speed Module Design Engineer to lead design and qualification of AECs and ACCs for AI, hyperscale data centers, data-storage, and telecom applications. You will drive module development from concept through high-volume production, collaborating across SI, hardware, firmware, manufacturing, QA, PM, sales, and suppliers.

You will mentor engineers, engage with ASIC vendors, and travel to global sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in electrical or optical module design with leadership.
• Strong analog circuit-design and high-speed signaling fundamentals.
• Experience solving signal integrity, power integrity, noise, and EMI.
• Knowledge of PCB materials, fabrication, and board-level design cycles.
• Lab measurement, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical and module design of AEC/ACC products from concept to production.
• Develop schedules, identify risks, coordinate dependencies, drive completion.
• Collaborate with SI, hardware, firmware, manufacturing, QA, PM, sales, suppliers, and labs.
• Translate inputs from customers and partners into design requirements.
• Develop cost-competitive, manufacturable designs meeting performance specs.
• Resolve DFM issues with process engineering and suppliers.
• Engage with ASIC vendors and component suppliers on technology and roadmaps.
• Provide hands-on support during prototypes, tests, qualification, and launches.
• Mentor engineers across multiple new-product projects.
• Travel to collaborate with global teams and sites.
