Job summary

Molex seeks an experienced Electrical High-Speed Module Design Engineer in Lisle, IL, to lead the design and qualification of AECs and ACCs for AI, hyperscale data centers, data storage, and telecom. You will guide development end-to-end, coordinating with signal integrity, hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust interconnect solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in electrical or optical module design and development with leadership.
• Strong analog circuit design and high-speed signaling fundamentals.
• Experience solving signal integrity, power integrity, noise, and thermal issues.
• Knowledge of PCB materials, fabrication, assembly, and design cycles.
• Excellent lab measurement, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Experience delivering electronics products in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to plan complex assignments and communicate with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and module design of AEC and ACC products from concept to production launch.
• Develop schedules, manage risks, and drive design activities to completion.
• Collaborate with signal integrity, hardware, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams.
• Translate inputs from customers and partners into detailed design requirements.
• Deliver manufacturable, cost-competitive designs meeting performance and EMI/thermal needs.
• Resolve DFM issues with process and manufacturing teams.
• Engage with ASIC vendors and component suppliers to evaluate technologies.
• Provide hands-on support during prototyping, testing, and qualification.
• Mentor junior engineers across multiple projects.
• Travel as needed to collaborate with global teams and suppliers.
