Molex is seeking an experienced Senior Product Design Engineer to design high-speed connectors, cables, and systems for data center applications. You will lead projects from concept through high-volume production, partnering with signal integrity, manufacturing, program management, and sales teams.

The role is based at our Lisle, IL Headquarters or Conway, Arkansas Design Center, offering a flexible work environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical product design and development with leadership.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Experience with GD&T and related concepts.
• Expert use of tolerance analyses.
• Experience with advanced parametric 3D CAD systems.
• Design experience with stamping, injection molding, die casting, insert molding.
• Desire to learn and work in a cross-functional team.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop interconnect products including high-speed connectors and cable assemblies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet market requirements and timelines.
• Lead projects from concept through high-volume production.
• Develop specs for testing that meet customer requirements and market expectations.
• Support manufacturing and quality during launches; travel may be required.
