Qualifications

• At least two years oncology scheduling experience.
• Ability to make independent judgements and to evaluate complex issues.
• Administrative abilities to resolve complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy.
• Oral communication skills to speak with individuals of varying backgrounds to obtain and convey specific information.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians, staff, patients and all personnel.
• Typing skills to prepare forms, manuscripts, and correspondence with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hematology-Oncology scheduling team, train schedulers and PAO agents.
• Handle daily clinic scheduling tasks: follow-ups, cancellations, research visits, infusion appointments, and referrals; manage CareConnect In-Baskets and emails.
