Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive mechanical experience with heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, or related equipment.
• 3–5 years of service-management, shop-leadership, or supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to lead technicians, manage workflow, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain safety/quality standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with service-management software and Microsoft Office.
• CDL required; state inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, prioritize, and supervise maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Lead technicians, monitor workmanship, and provide coaching and development.
• Ensure safety requirements and manufacturer procedures are followed.
• Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pump, and vehicle-system troubleshooting.
• Manage work orders, staffing capacity, parts, and equipment readiness.
• Provide high-level customer service and resolve service concerns promptly.
