PDQuipment is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our equipment service department at our Texas facility. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on mechanical repair, parts sourcing, technician management, and clear customer communication.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or leading a mechanical service or repair shop.
• Experience supervising and developing technicians.
• Strong parts-research and sourcing ability.
• Comfortable with ERP and service-management software.
• Excellent customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support service technicians throughout the repair process.
• Prioritize jobs and keep equipment moving toward completion.
• Assist with diagnostics and determine appropriate repair strategies.
• Research and source replacement parts from multiple vendors.
• Review parts and labor needs before work proceeds; communicate with customers regarding repairs, estimates, delays, and completion.
• Maintain accurate service tickets, notes, parts, and labor in our ERP system.
• Inspect completed work and maintain strong quality-control standards.
• Coordinate with other locations and departments.
• Help recruit, train, and develop service technicians.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional service environment.
