Waste Pro in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians responsible for the repair and preventive maintenance of our fleet, including heavy‑duty trucks and related equipment. You will prioritize safety, manage workflow, and ensure repairs meet quality standards through DVIR reviews and established guidelines.

As a trusted on‑site leader, you will coach staff, track parts and labor, and coordinate with managers to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes and suspensions on heavy and light trucks.
• Knowledge of fuel systems and electrical/hydraulic components.
• High school diploma or GED with 2 years maintenance/welding experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead role experience.
• Valid Class A or B CDL; meet company requirements; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs on Waste Pro equipment to maximize safety and productivity.
• Supervises team responsible for repair, installation and maintenance of machinery and heavy-duty equipment.
• Prepares and reviews repair orders; maintains logs of repairs and ensures proper charging.
• Coaches and evaluates staff; enforces safety rules and Positive Leadership principles.
• Partners with managers, drivers and admins to maintain fleet operations and safety.
