Job summary

The Waste Pro Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team responsible for diagnosing and repairing Waste Pro vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and productivity across operations. You will supervise mechanics, review repair orders, and enforce preventive maintenance programs while coordinating with managers and drivers.

This role requires CDL, prior supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of heavy- and light-duty truck systems.

Qualifications

  • Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, hydraulic and body systems in heavy-duty and light-duty trucks.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory or lead experience.
  • Valid Class A or B CDL required; Waste Pro standards apply.
  • Mechanic certification and/or ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs to maximize safe, productive operations.
  • Supervise maintenance team handling repair, installation and upkeep of equipment.
  • Prepare and review repair orders; track labor, materials and parts usage.
  • Coach, train, and evaluate employees; enforce safety policies.
  • Build relationships with managers, drivers, mechanics and admin staff.
  • Identify parts needs and procure within budget; escalate major purchases.
  • Oversee safety inspections, set priorities, and ensure quality of work.
