Job summary

Waste Pro in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a shop crew responsible for daily service and safety of Waste Pro vehicles, equipment, and containers. You will diagnose mechanical problems, oversee repairs, review DVIRs, and ensure work meets established guidelines while coaching and developing a team. The role requires CDL, supervisory experience, and a focus on safety, with opportunities to collaborate across drivers, managers and admin.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty truck systems.
• Ability to train and supervise a maintenance team.
• Knowledge of DVIR and repair orders.
• Experience with safety and compliance in field service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty equipment to keep Waste Pro vehicles safe and productive.
• Supervise mechanics; review repair orders and train staff.
• Prepare repairs, track labor and parts, and maintain repair logs.
• Participate in safety lane, assign work, and ensure quality.
• Procure parts within budget and escalate major purchases.
• Foster relationships with drivers, managers, and admin.
• Attend training and adhere to safety regulations.
