Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance teams and directing shop operations.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on vehicles and equipment.
• Familiar with Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and repair orders.
• Experience road testing vehicles to verify repairs.
• Ability to hire, coach, and evaluate staff; enforce safety rules.
• Coordinate parts procurement within budget and communicate with Maintenance Manager.
• Work with managers, drivers, mechanics, and admin staff.
• Ensure safety and productivity in maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Waste Pro equipment to maximize safe operations; review DVIRs.
• Supervise mechanics; prepare repair orders and track labor, materials, and parts.
• Coach and develop staff; enforce safety rules and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate parts needs and participate in safety and maintenance processes.
• Inspect trucks and tools; monitor maintenance activities for quality and safety.
