Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design recovery plans, and fabricate custom orthoses while collaborating with hand surgeons and a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, a DPT/DOT preferred, and at least 3 years in upper-extremity rehab with an OT/PT license and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy experience.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide hand therapy including splints and orthoses.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and therapists; participate in care planning.
• Direct and mentor staff, students, and assistants.
• Document services and outcomes; manage wound care and edema control.
• Deliver post-surgical and injury rehabilitation as appropriate.
