Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our rehabilitative services team. The role focuses on evaluation, splinting, and developing targeted recovery plans for hand, wrist and elbow conditions in an outpatient setting.

You will supervise assistants and students while delivering advanced OT/PT interventions. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, hold a current OT or PT license, and a CHT credential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy
• Current state PT or OT license
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder conditions
• Perform orthotic/splint fabrication and patient education on usage and precautions
• Directs and supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and support personnel
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehabilitation as appropriate
