Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Lead Guide to build a high-performing team of Guides and deliver life-skills experiences across campuses. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role focused on coaching, data-driven improvement, and bold, student-centered approaches to transform K-12 education.

Relocation support is available; compensation is $200,000 USD per year, paid weekly. Joining Alpha means embracing a culture of excellence and continuous growth while helping students achieve ambitious goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and making performance-based termination decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Willingness to work on-site at an Alpha campus (relocation support available).

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in their self-directed academic programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
