Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, stronger mentorship, and more time for students to build real-world skills.

Lead Guide builds and mentors a team of Guides, delivering life-skills workshops and coaching to students aged 5-14, while upholding Alpha's high standards.

You’ll recruit, develop and empower staff, use data to drive performance, and help launch new campuses from zero. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role with relocation support available in select markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and evaluating performance.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Leading life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, focus and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Using data and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses with a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
