Job summary

Ello is seeking a Growth Engineer to define and lead growth engineering, owning end‑to‑end growth features across mobile, web, backend, and lifecycle channels—from idea through launch and iteration.

You’ll work closely with PMs, design, engineering, marketing, and leadership to drive experiments, measure outcomes, and raise the bar for growth as the function matures. This is a high‑ownership role with meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Excellent in at least two of: engineering full‑stack delivery, growth judgment, experimentation, data‑driven decisions.
• Ability to ship iteratively with fast feedback loops.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive initiatives from idea to impact.

Responsibilities

• Help build growth‑engineering strategy, operating model, tooling, and standards.
• Develop and own growth features end to end across mobile, web, backend, and lifecycle channels—from idea through launch and iteration.
• Identify high‑leverage opportunities across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and referrals.
• Design and run small, fast experiments; define success metrics; instrument the experience; turn results into next steps.
• Improve onboarding, signup, parent experiences, referrals, notifications, and other growth loops.
• Build or evolve analytics and data systems to increase learning velocity.
• Connect quantitative signals with qualitative insights into motivations and behavior.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, marketing, and leadership while driving work forward.
