Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a General Superintendent for a Data Center project. You will oversee field operations, coordinate trade contractors, manage budget, and drive safety on a $100M+ data center site.

Expect daily on-site leadership and close collaboration with the project team to deliver on schedule and safety standards. You will leverage deep construction experience, hyperscale data center know-how, and proven leadership to guide teams, enforce safety, and maintain rigorous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; STS-C certification.
• Strong communication, leadership and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet schedule.
• Manages project budget for general conditions and site services.
• Develops and communicates field work plans for changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Ensures subcontractors obtain necessary permits.
• Acts as primary safety representative and enforces safety.
• Develops safety strategies and drives safety culture.
• Maintains daily reports and project schedules.
• Plans, coordinates, and manages jobsite logistics.
• Leads contractor meetings and collaborates with stakeholders.
