Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks an experienced General Superintendent- Data Centers to oversee all field operations on a data center project up to $100M. You will manage schedule, safety, and trades on site daily, coordinating with project leadership to deliver quality work on time.

The role requires strong leadership, deep construction knowledge, and the ability to drive safety culture while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 10–15 years of experience on large commercial/industrial projects or multiple projects in a lead superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and STS-C certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.
• Strong technical and communication skills; ability to lead and manage safety.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet the approved project schedule.
• Manages the project budget for general conditions and site services.
• Develops, documents, and communicates the work plan regarding field changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily reports and documentation.
