Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks a Superintendent - Data Center to independently supervise a large-scale data center program and its trade contractors, ensuring work aligns with schedule and budget. The role operates on site daily, balancing safety, quality, and delivery while coordinating with owners, engineers, and sub‑contractors.

You will lead field teams, maintain schedules, and implement contingency plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4–8 years on $15–$30M commercial/industrial projects in a superintendent role.
• OSHA 30‑hour certification and STS‑C.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.
• Experience with hyperscale data center projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs day‑to‑day coordination of trade partners to meet project schedule.
• Develops work plans and communicates field changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains project schedule and reports.
• Ensures safety program implementation and quality control.
