Sprouts Farmers Market in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and support store operations. You will model exceptional service, mentor teammates, and help maintain smooth register flow to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED, plus 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule requirements including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to be a role model for customers and teammates.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Strong math skills, cash handling experience, and ability to count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide direction to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist with customer questions or issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Participate in hiring and training of new cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain security and loss prevention awareness and ensure cleanliness in restrooms and parking lots.
