Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced team, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient front-end operations. You will supervise cashiers, assist with training, and help maintain store cleanliness and safety, while adapting to a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashier experience with leadership training, plus strong math and communication skills in a friendly, team-oriented

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and a high school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer service
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner
• Excellent math and cash-handling skills, attention to detail and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations
• Proactively visit registers and provide direction and support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks
• Assist customers with register issues and resolve inquiries
• Schedule and supervise meal and rest breaks in compliance with policy and state laws
• Participate in hiring and training of new Cashiers and disciplinary steps as needed
• Maintain security by supervising exit doors and loss-prevention practices
