Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate field work, and act as a liaison with management and property owners. You will drive safety standards, train team members, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks in a dynamic field environment.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to company policies and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to travel for storm work.
• CDL is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy; conducts safety training.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners and discusses issues with customers.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports for crew performance.
• Keeps equipment and vehicles in good condition and ensures DOT compliance.
