Job summary

Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking a Lead Fluids Analyst to support the Thermodynamic Vent System on the MK2 Crewed Lander for NASA's Artemis and HLS programs. You will develop thermo-fluids models of cryogenic propellants and guide design from concept through build and test.

You will collaborate with NASA and national partners, lead cross functional teams, and contribute to cryogenic fluid management in propulsion systems, LH2/LOX handling, and ground testing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering required.
• 5+ years of thermal/fluids analysis experience.
• Proficiency with CFD tools such as Thermal Desktop or Sinda/Fluint.
• Understanding of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics.
• Hands-on fluids calculations using Excel.

Responsibilities

• Generate and run thermo-fluids models of cryogenic propellant.
• Work with a cross functional team to advance the state of the art of in space cryogenic fluid management in propulsion systems.
