Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a highly motivated Flight Test Engineer and Test Lead to drive developmental test efforts for a Group 5 UAS. The role focuses on planning, executing, and reporting on flight test programs, with emphasis on envelope expansion, vehicle autonomy, and tests in operational environments.

You will lead test campaigns, collaborate across DoD partners, and ensure rigorous documentation and reviews while solving complex challenges in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as test conductor/director for developmental aircraft or missiles.
• BS degree or equivalent engineering experience; DoD/UAS testing familiarity.
• Strong documentation, communication, and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute and report on test programs for developmental UAS.
• Lead test events, envelope expansion and flying qualities.
• Coordinate with DoD and government test facilities.
• Improve test efficiency across lab, ground, and flight environments.
• Facilitate cross-team technical discussions and reviews.
