Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior UAS Flight Test Engineer to plan, execute, and report developmental and operational flight test activities. You will work with a team across the US, UK and Europe under civil and military approval schemes on Group 3 UAS and related platforms.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 8+ years of UAS experience, and the ability to travel extensively (>75%). Candidates must be FAA Part 107 certified and eligible for a U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in UAS integration, testing, and project management.
• Willingness to travel >75% to US and overseas.
• Understanding of NAS and UAS regulations.
• Experience with large UAS testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of Group 3 UAS to ensure performance and reliability.
• Deploy to remote test sites within the US, with overseas trials.
• Participate in weekly stand-ups and provide progress reports to leadership.
• Develop and execute focused test plans for internal and customer trials.
• Develop and implement baseline safety plans to mitigate risks during testing.
• Communicate effectively within the team and across the organization.
