Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Flight Test Engineer focused on developmental testing of a Group 5 UAS. You will own planning, coordination, execution and reporting across the test program, working with program leadership and cross‑functional teams to move tough tests forward.

The role requires extensive test experience on developmental aircraft/weapons, MIL-STD knowledge, and the ability to travel and obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years as test conductor/director for developmental aircraft, weapons, or missile systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering experience; may substitute.
• Extensive experience as a test conductor/test director for developmental aircraft, weapon, or missile systems.
• Test planning, execution, and reporting for developmental systems.
• Experience in aero/performance, loads/dynamics, propulsion or electrical.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD standards and airspace/regulations for UAS/DoD contexts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and report on the test program for Fury UAS.
• Lead or be part of a flight test team across ranges.
• Collect test data and perform initial data analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop requirements and discuss results.
• Follow safe operating procedures and practices.
