Job summary

Diligent Robotics is seeking a Lead Engineer, Issue Management & Triage to own the systems and tools that detect, triage, diagnose, and resolve issues across a deployed robotic fleet. This hands‑on role sits at the intersection of Customers, ROC, and Engineering, and focuses on building reliable infrastructure and automation in Python and backend services.

Location: Austin preferred, with US‑wide remote options and up to 50% travel in the first 90 days.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in relevant technical or program management roles.
• 2+ years of leadership or people management.
• Experience with complex, real‑world systems (robotics, autonomous/distributed systems).
• Proven track record building operational tools, systems, or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end‑to‑end systems for issue intake, triage, and escalation.
• Develop automation to ingest, process, and classify operational data.
• Partner with Engineering on system integrations (logs, telemetry, alerts).
• Act as the primary interface between ROC and Engineering.
• Build dashboards and reporting to track trends, severity, and impact.
