Qualifications

• 3+ years working with complex robotic or electromechanical systems.
• Systems mindset: understanding how mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software components interact.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for debugging tools, automation, or robotics software.
• Experience using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot system-level issues.
• Collaborative approach across engineering disciplines to improve reliability.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage failures across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software systems to quickly restore reliable robot operation.
• Test, and evaluate complete robotic systems to identify and isolate system-level issues.
• Use logs, instrumentation, and hardware diagnostic tools to root-cause complex failures.
• Build and maintain internal tooling and automation in Python and C++ for debugging and system visibility.
• Identify recurring failure modes and partner with engineering teams to implement fixes that improve builds.
