Job summary

Diligent Robotics is hiring a Manufacturing Reliability Engineer in Austin, TX with 50% travel to Milwaukee, WI. You will own production test for our robots at the contract manufacturer, designing and running robust end-to-end test protocols, provisioning fleets of robots, and owning KPIs that define production quality.

This role requires coordinating with software, hardware, operations, and product teams, and leading on-site production activities at the CM while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in production/test engineering for electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end test process ownership from inspection through final test and shipment.
• Provisioning of bots: imaging, firmware deployment, configuration, validation, handoff to production.
• Own KPIs: FPY, cycle time, test coverage; drive continuous improvements.
• Architect, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test rigs.
• Lead root-cause analysis for field and production failures; coordinate corrective actions.
• On-site production leadership: train operators, debug line failures, refine CM processes.
