Summit Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm & Security Superintendent to establish and manage field activities for fire alarm installations. This role partners with the Branch office to ensure adherence to quality programs, procedures, and work instructions on site.

You will lead coordination with customers, AHJs, designers, and other trades, schedule staffing, manage materials, track progress, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 years Fire Life Safety industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm.
• NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification is required.
• 3 years of professional computer skills preferred.
• Proficiency with business intelligence or ERP systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license required and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Schedule all field activities and coordinate with sales/design on the Preconstruction Package.
• Work in the field to install systems with foreman and apprentices.
• Schedule staffing for each week using reports and plan 3 months ahead.
• Arrange materials and ensure foreman has plans and information.
• Coordinate with purchasing for material orders and deliveries.
• Oversee equipment purchases or rentals as needed.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings and report rough-in and completion status.
• Follow up on punch lists and secure customer sign-off.
• Report scheduling delays, safety concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Ensure timesheets and training records are accurate and submitted on time.
• Ensure employees comply with job requirements and tasks.
• Maintain company-provided vehicle and tools, conduct inventories quarterly.
• Follow Safety program and ensure training is scheduled and conducted.
• Coordinate training for Alarm Foreman and Apprentices as per policy.
• Other duties may be assigned.
