Job summary

Summit Fire Protection is seeking an Install Manager to oversee fire alarm and security department operations across designated areas. You will drive profitability, growth, and performance metrics by leading field teams, coordinating project delivery, and managing budgets.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, NICET/FASA certifications, and extensive knowledge of Fire Life Safety systems. Travel and collaboration with multiple stakeholders are essential daily activities.

Qualifications

• 7 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm.
• NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification, required.
• Fire Alarm Systems Agent (FASA) Certification, required.
• 3 years professional computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the assigned fire alarm & security department installations and operations.
• Manage the department's financial performance including P&L, gross revenue, and margins.
• Communicate with management about financial progress, growth strategies, and staffing needs.
• Ensure proper execution of internal workflows, field work, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Lead and coordinate inspections, commissioning, and project meetings in the assigned area.
• Oversee material orders, shop prep, scheduling, and invoicing with Purchasing and Billing.
• Coordinate with Sales for planning and securing new customer opportunities and quotes.
