Job summary

Summit Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, service, and repair fire alarm and security systems and other life-safety products with minimal supervision.

You will work with various components, test equipment, and software, follow safety programs, document work orders, and communicate professionally with customers and monitoring companies.

Qualifications

• 2 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm.
• NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot to determine fault(s) in fire alarm systems.
• Repair or replace damaged fire alarm components.
• Program and configure various fire alarm systems and related equipment.
• Document work orders and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain company safety standards and drive to job sites as required.
• Assist in training service technician trainees.
