Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) seeks a Financial Claim Manager to lead the sales deduction claim program across CE and MX products.

You will review submissions in N-ERP and Salesforce, enforce policy compliance, and drive month-end close activities while acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external requests. You will analyze deductions, reconcile balances, and coach staff on validations, procedures, and the use of AI and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• ERP Proficiency is required.
• Experience with Sales Deduction & Customer Management.
• Strong Financial Acumen for analyses and forecasting.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in Training and Clear Communication.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales Deduction Claim Management across product divisions; review submissions in N-ERP and Salesforce Dotcom; enforce policy compliance and manage month-end close.
• Research and validate customer invoices, deductions, damages and pricing discrepancies against trade agreements; ensure components are set before credit.
• Distinguish valid vs. invalid/unauthorized chargebacks; reconcile open balances and aging deduction reports in SAP/NERP.
• Lead collection efforts or rebilling for invalid deductions; partner with sales and account management to align deductions with promotions.
• Communicate with external customers and vendors to request backup documentation; drive timely processing and posting.
• Oversee team onboarding and staff education on validations and SOPs; monitor performance goals.
