Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Lead Field Technician – Critical Infrastructure to lead field execution on large-scale data center construction projects. You will coordinate trades, supervise field crews and subcontractors, and ensure schedules, safety, and quality are met on site.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Extensive hands-on experience in construction execution, subcontractor coordination, and field leadership roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across trades and elevate risks effectively.
• Proficiency with construction field tools and platforms (e.g., Procore, BIM 360, Autodesk Build).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field execution for assigned scopes, zones, or workstreams.
• Direct field labor and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners within assigned areas.
• Coordinate daily activities across trades including electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, networking, and commissioning.
• Develop 2–3 week look-ahead schedules aligned with the master schedule and track progress.
• Enforce safety policies and lead toolbox talks; ensure QA/QC compliance.
