Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a Lead Field Technician – Critical Infrastructure to support hyperscale and colocation data center construction projects ranging from 40 MW to 200 MW. The Field Lead coordinates daily activities across trades, directs field crews and subcontractors, and ensures work is performed safely, on schedule, and per project requirements.

This senior role requires strong technical judgment, field presence, and the ability to resolve issues in real time while escalating

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field execution for assigned scopes, zones, or workstreams.
• Direct STC field labor and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners within assigned areas.
• Coordinate daily activities across trades including electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, networking, and commissioning.
