Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Service Technician based in North Charleston, SC, responsible for the independent service, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of mtu engines and propulsion systems at customer sites across North America and internationally.

You will manage job planning, vendor coordination, and technical execution end-to-end, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to service documentation in a high-travel role.

Qualifications

• 2 years mechanical or technical trade school with 3+ years of field service experience, or 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with large diesel engines or related field is required.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Travel 70–100% domestically and internationally to customer sites.
• Lead field service execution: service, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul mtu engines and propulsion systems.
• Manage job timelines, estimates, parts, vendors, and site documentation end-to-end.
