Job summary

The Associate Service Technician at Rolls-Royce is an entry-level field role supporting the service, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of mtu engines and propulsion systems at customer sites across North America. Qualifications

• Two-year mechanical trade school diploma or associate’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent field service experience.
• At least two years of hands-on field service, mechanical, or electrical troubleshooting on diesel engines.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support service, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of mtu engines and propulsion systems in the field.
• Travel domestically and internationally 70–100% to customer sites across North America and beyond.
• Plan, prepare for assignments, request parts/tools, and maintain logs of engine, vessel, and equipment.
• Create technical documentation and post-job reports; contribute to service manuals and bulletins.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and colleagues; represent Rolls-Royce professionally.
