Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking an Associate Service Technician. This entry-level field role supports service, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of mtu engines and propulsion systems at customer sites across North America and beyond.

You will work with senior technicians, travel 70–100% at times, and gain hands-on experience in marine propulsion and control systems while developing customer-facing skills in a high-travel environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year mechanical trade school diploma or Associate's degree in Engineering, or related field.
• Two or more years of hands-on field service, mechanical, or electrical troubleshooting on diesel engines.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in service, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of mtu engines, propulsion systems, and electronic controls.
• Travel domestically and internationally 70–100% of the time, often on short notice.
• Plan and prepare for assignments, assess scope, and maintain accurate logs.
• Create technical documentation, reports and service letters; update service manuals.
