Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking an Associate Service Technician to support the service, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of mtu engines and propulsion systems at customer sites across North America and internationally.

This entry-level role emphasizes hands-on technical work, planning, and documentation, with significant travel required (domestic and international) and a focus on developing expertise in marine propulsion and power systems.

Qualifications

• Two-year mechanical trade school diploma or Associate's degree in Engineering, or two+ years field service experience.
• US citizenship or permanent residency; able to work without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel 70-100% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in service, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of mtu engines and propulsion systems in the field.
• Travel domestically and internationally 70-100% of the time to customer sites.
• Plan, prepare, and scope work; order parts and tools; maintain logs of engines, vessels and equipment.
• Create technical documentation and service letters; contribute to service manuals with product teams.
• Support customers and colleagues; demonstrate safe operation and professional conduct.
