As a Building Automation Technician here at Honeywell, you will have an opportunity to provide technical guidance and facilitation, oversee service delivery, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Your expertise will drive the success of our field service operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you'll work at Tinker Air Force Base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guide and manage a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and facilitation
Oversee operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
Provide technical expertise and facilitation for complex technical issues
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
SHIFT: Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm with rotational on-call responsibility
YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of hands-on experience in field service or technical support, specifically with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Advanced knowledge of networking concepts, such as IP addressing, BACnet/IP, and Modbus communication
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills related to facility control systems
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize service calls or tasks
A track record of identifying and resolving system issues efficiently in the field
Solid communication and customer service skills to clearly explain technical concepts to clients and team members
