Job summary

Hitachi Energy NAM Grid Integration is seeking a Field Service Team Leader to guide our field service activities across the US and Canada. The role emphasizes safety, team growth, and strategic expansion to support a growing customer base in energy infrastructure.

The candidate will manage resources, coordinate service offerings, and ensure timely reporting to partners, leveraging knowledge of HVDC/FACTS systems and maintenance procedures to deliver reliable grid solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum eight years of demonstrated experience in electrical systems and service.
• Experience leading troubleshooting events and teaching technical abilities to teams.
• Experience with maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of HVDC / FACTS systems and their grid application.
• Demonstrated experience in safe work practices.
• Working knowledge of commercial and legal terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Strategy - resource expansion to support growing customer base.
• Quality - identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Execution - plan and manage Field Service resources and activities.

• Provide tender cost estimates for field activities.
• Ensure timely feedback of service activities to business partners.
