Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks a Field Service Team Leader to guide a team of Service Engineers, oversee field service, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for North American grid automation projects.

You will balance technical delivery with resource planning, P&L accountability, and safety compliance, collaborating with sales, operations, and customers to ensure safe, reliable power-system solutions and ongoing professional growth for the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing a service organization.
• Experience with automation, protection, control, communications, or similar systems.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and customer relationships.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Service Engineers across field service activities.
• Oversee day-to-day service operations to deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Plan and coordinate field service, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modernization.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify new service opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
