Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Manager for Industrial Compressors & Controls to lead a regional PAC service team across California and Arizona. This hybrid leadership role requires hands-on coaching, customer-facing leadership, and ensuring uptime for critical compressed air systems.

You will recruit and develop technicians, guide complex troubleshooting, and coordinate with sales to grow service business while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with relavant experience.
• 5+years’ experience in an industrial sales business setting.
• 3+years’ experience in supervising / managing teams of people.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.

Responsibilities

• Attract, coach, train, develop, and retain all service employees; drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with service CO to align training and resources across the service area.
• Collaborate with sales to win new service business and manage quotes/ proposals.
• Ensure timely invoicing and manage budgets, improve service processes.
• Manage service team inventory and ensure SOX compliance with reporting and cycles.
• Provide EH&S training and ensure safe work practices on site and shop.
• Perform other duties to support the service business and customer satisfaction.
