Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Manager for Industrial Compressors & Controls, based in Pomona, CA. Hybrid role with regional travel, leading PAC Field Service Technicians responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal compressor systems.

The role emphasizes building a strong regional service team, coaching technicians, recruiting, and delivering safe, reliable service to major manufacturing customers. Strong leadership and technical credibility are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in industrial sales/related field.
• 3+ years supervising/leading teams.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Attract, coach, train, and retain service employees; drive performance and training programs.
• Coordinate with service and sales to respond to customers and grow service revenue.
• Engage with customers to quote, propose, and execute service agreements.
• Ensure timely invoicing, manage budgets, and improve service processes.
• Manage service team inventory and maintain SOX-compliant reporting.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and provide safety training across the team.
• Support the service business and customer satisfaction through ownership.
