Job summary

Vertiv is hiring a Engineer to troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical apparatus. You will serve as lead on projects, supervise technical work, and prepare comprehensive reports.

The role includes some travel and interaction with clients to support proposals and scope development. A BSEE/BSME or equivalent is required, with several years of electrical testing experience, NEC/OSHA knowledge, and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with BSEE/BSME or equivalent
• Three years minimum experience in electrical testing or related field
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA/NFPA standards
• Passed NETA exam and familiarity with 15 kV switchgear testing
• Willingness to travel up to several weeks
• Strong communication and report-writing skills

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain electrical power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot relay calibration and test equipment up to 15 kV class.
• Prepare detailed project reports and assist with billing.
• Support business development and client proposals with scope and pricing.
