Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to perform on-site repairs, start-up services, and preventive maintenance for UPS systems and related power equipment. The role is remote from a home office with daily travel to customer sites in the greater Minneapolis area, and occasional overnight stays.

Competitive salary ($69,000–$101,000) with overtime eligibility, comprehensive benefits, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply troubleshooting techniques.
• Solid understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and circuit fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support including emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventive maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites daily with a company fleet vehicle; occasional overnight stays.
• Participate in safety audits and maintain compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70E requirements.
